Ok, so this isn't Travis' first rodeo. The Houston rapper has a long line of sneaker collaborations with partner brand Nike but the latest collaboration, The Travis Scott Air Max Nike 1s "Cactus Jack," is rumored to drop in 5 colorways.
The news that 1st dropped by sneaker insiders PY_RATES by posting mockups on Instagram was just certified as a post that shows La Flame donning the mockup sneakers has surfaced online.
A sneak peek of what's to come, and if they are anything like his last drops, we should be in for a treat.
A Sneak Peek of the Travis Scott Air Max Nike 1's
The initial teaser showcases the classic Nike Air 1 silhouette in a typical Travis Scott colour palette using earthy colours on the bulk of the shoe, such as dark brown and wheat.
Cactus Jack has previously stated that these colours embody his hometown of Houston, and that's why they are such a common theme across his sneaker collaborations.
Another feature is the iconic backward swoosh like the one featured on his Air 1's, which have gone down to be arguably one of the greatest Jordan 1's of all time.
With a reported release price of $160 or around £113 for us British sneakerheads, the kicks will undoubtedly be hard to come by and will have a higher resale value.
A solid take on a classic silhouette, the Cactus Jack Nike Air Max 1's will be a sweet addition to the Travis Scott sneaker catalog.
But also, they might be the sneaker collaboration we didn't know we needed.
